Canada is one of the country’s that is known for its love for the game of hockey, but it has so much to offer than just the winter sports. It offers a spectacular art scene, engaging live theater, festivals that are world-renowned with top of the list celebrities, entrancing architecture and a vast array of clubs and casinos.
History, Architecture, and Art.
Canadians believe that the great group of 7 has painted some of the most exquisite art in the history of their country, their main focus was on landscapes in Canada and it truly symbolized its identity. These museums include Canada’s National Gallery, Ontario’s Art Gallery, Vancouver Art Gallery, Nova Scotia’s Art Gallery, and McMichael Art Collection. There are other museums across the country.
Canada’s National Gallery among others is home to impressive artworks from its aborigines, the Anthropology Museum, Canada History Museum and Stanley Park hosts Totem Poles a significant spiritual structure belonging to the First Nations individuals.
For unique buildings, there is CN Tower based in Toronto, it was at one point the tallest freestanding building in the world. It has an elevator that goes all the way up to the roof and is fitted with glass walls. It has 116 floors. Other buildings include Ontario’s Art Gallery, Evergreen Building, and Parliament Hill Structure.
Live Theatre Experience.
A lot of talent is experienced here. One can find plays by different writers at the Shaw Festival, some comedies and tragedies take place at the famous Stratford Festival, and lastly the ED Mirvish space which is known for showcasing blockbuster hits. Television and film.
Canada’s Film Festival is held in Toronto every year in September, the top of the list celebrities can be spotted at this event walking down the well spread out the red carpet to go and watch a few of the unique films in the industry as they debut. Their documentary scene is also very vibrant, and they also host documentary festivals that see international participation during the springtime.

There are several clubs, casinos, bars, and a variety of concerts to attend around Canada, one can enjoy and have fun in the late night. Nature Museum.
It’s known as Talisman Energy Fossil Gallery. It plays host to three hundred specimens representing basically fifty million years throughout history. On display are 36 full dinosaur skeletons, and fifteen life-size structures in 2 different perspective scenes. The museum has an Extinction Theatre that shows a couple of short films mainly about the dinosaur extinction and mammals emergence.
Royal Ontario Museum.
Canada has over six million objects; it is among the biggest museum collections located in North America. The Royal Museum is greatly known for its world cultures and natural history. It hosts the Louise Temerty and James galleries. The museum also has on display a couple of hands-on computer offer information about dinosaur specimens and their short videos.
Montreal, Quebec
Montreal is among the oldest cities in the country. It’s an eating and shopping haven, with a combination of designers’ shops and shopping malls thanks to the rich French culture. It happens to be home to the famous jazz festival that takes place during the summertime and the Yuk Yuk’s laughing or comedy festival.
Toronto, Ontario.
This is Canada’s business hub and its biggest city. It is home to major sporting teams that play in the major leagues of sports. They have the 3rd tallest building after the Burj and the Taipei in the globe. It also offers a great shopping experience. Its neighborhoods are ethnocentric.
