Founded by Sam Holman, it has steadily grown over the years to become one of Canada’s largest sports companies. .The company started by producing baseball bats out of Sam Holman’s garage, which led him to start the Original Maple Bat Corporation, also known as Sam Bat. The company made the Canadian Maple Wood Bats, also known as “Sam Bat”. They use Maple wood instead of the traditional ash because it’s harder and it improves the bats’ performance. The high-quality bats they produce attracted some high profile clients. Over 100 renowned League Baseball players used Sam Bats on the field. In their factory in Carleton Place, Sam Bats provides over 18,00 bats per year.

Sabian cymbals are popular around the music industry. The Canadian manufacturer and designer of cymbal is one of the most recognized cymbal producers in North America. Sabian Cymbals have been used by some of the most famous musicians like Rush, Keith Harris, The Black Eyed Peas, to name a few. The company was started by Robert Zildjian in Meductic, New Brunswick in 1981. Starting in town with a small population of about 300 people, Robert didn’t envision much growth for his company. Eventually, Sabian Cymbal took off, and it’s now being sold in over 120 countries.

CANADA GOOSE

It’s kept Canadians warm since 1957. Among regular people and arctic explorers, Canada Goose has always been a favorite. Canada Goose produces an extensive collection of cold-weather accessories such as their famous insulated parkas. These include hats, vests, gloves, jackets and many other clothing items. They are famous for using coyote fur on the hoods of their jackets.

Currently, Canada Goose has two factories, one in Winnipeg while the other is in Toronto. Most of their products are made in Canada and primarily made using Canadian material proving how much of a Canadian company it is.

The factory is located in Scarborough, Ontario, and it produces not less than 5 billion pieces of medicinal candy per year, which is distributed throughout the United States and Canada.
