Established in 2009, this New Brunswick-based company regularly produces 15 different types of kettle cooked and crinkle cut potato chips, and five flavors of popcorn.
Among the potato chip flavors that are offered by Covered Bridge are creamy dill pickle, sea salt, Atlantic lobster, homestyle ketchup, cheddar cheese, sweet & spicy jalapeno, and “The Weekender,” which is a combination of four flavors.
Interestingly, the Covered Bridge company grows its own dark Russet potatoes on 500 acres of land. This helps to ensure that their chips maintain the same delicious flavor throughout the year.
Prior to the current health pandemic, guided group tours of the Covered Bridge factory were offered. The company is located in the scenic Saint John River Valley region. For information about the tours being resumed, it is recommended that people contact the company.
